Default How long for my porter in the primary?

What is the ballpark time my porter should stay in my primary, I am not set up for a secondary, therefore my brew will be bottled after the primary. Its an all extract john bull masterclass, no sugar added on my part.

How long should I keep in my primary?

Simple answer, "Normally a week or so... With no secondary, I would suggest 12-14 days..."

More complex answer, "Get a hydrometer and take 3 consecutive, unchanging readings over a period of several days. Then bottle. If you bottle too early you will make bottle bombs."

If you are going straight to bottles give it 2 weeks AFTER the fermentation has stopped.
