Default How long do different bottled beers last?

Generally speaking, how long will different types of bottled beer last stored indoors in a dark place?

Not long if you invite me over

But really, bottle conditioned beer (except for hefeweizen and dry-hopped stuff) will taste good for years. There was one guy on here a while back who dusted off some of his dad's ale that was like 10 years old or something. He said it tasted fine. For hefeweizen and dry-hopped varieties, best to drink as soon as they're carbed since the flavor starts disappearing.
