How long to cask for?
I brewed some mild that has now been casked (abt 3.8% abv), how long should it be conditioned in there? It's been primed with some sugar for some sparkliness and I guess there is an optimal time between the full development of the flavours and keeping on with the freshness of such a low alcohol brew. I'm currently aiming at just over 2 weeks for tapping it but I wonder if this is too long.

I think two weeks would be ok.

From what I understand to be correct, once the priming sugars have been consumed by the yeast, producing the proper (low volume) carbonation the beer is not far from being served. It is not conditioned for any real length of time and is served FRESH or Real. Finings are almost always added when casking to brighten the beer rather than allowing it to clear up naturally over a lengthy conditioning time.
