Default How long is beer good for in a keg

How long will beer stay good while its in a keg. Also, does the keg have to be stored in a refirdgerator? I am working on my second batch and I am already getting tired of bottling.

It will stay good in the keg as long as it will stay good in a bottle IF you push it out with CO2 and not a hand pump. If doesn't need to be refrigerated if you like room temperature beer.
