Default Hot and cold break/Primary

Hi,

I just came across something for first time yesterday after already making two batches. Does everyone separate the wort from the remnants of the hot and cold break when pouring the wort into the fermenter? I didn't do this on either batch and after all the instruction I received that was the first time hearing of it. I never knew you should leave this stuff behind

Tommy

it's up to you. try both ways and see if you notice a difference. it depends on the way you ferment as well. do you only primary and no secondary? do you harvest yeast? do you reuse the yeast cake? how anal are you?
