Default hops substitution question
I need 1.5 oz of hallertau hops. Just realized I have 1 oz.
I have some kent goldings.. amarillo...cascade...centenniel...fuggles...nugget ....simcoe...can I sub in a 1/2 oz of one of these and be close?

can you just pick one that has a similar AA%?

yep.. figured that right after I posted... HOWEVER after looking at the recipe, the type of hops it calls for is the same variety but mine are labeled to have a higher AA% so one ounce is perfect after all once I plugged in the correct numbers.
