I use mostly centenniel and cascade hops as I am making some lightr beers right now. However I am getting a lot of citrucy ( sp) flavors, almost like bitter orange in the beers regardless of recipe. Is this from the hops type?

Yes. Likely. Centennial and cascade are often described as having a floral, citrus or even moderately strong grapefruit flavour.

Maybe, maybe not....we need more info. Warm fermentation temperatures can also give off some fruity esters also. Give us an example recipe that you've brewed.
