Default Hop bag vs loose in kettle

Hello my friends,

Should I chose Hop bag or boil hops loose in kettle?

Bag pellets. It's just easier to clean up.

Loose leaf. They make for a nice hot trub filter bed.

I use a hop bag (and usually use whole or plugs). I suspect I lose some utilization but it makes my brew day go a little easier without worrying about the mess. Either way works, though - you could try both and see which you prefer.

I stoped useing bags since I bought a larg metal mesh strainer. Works just as good as a bag and now I don't have to worrie about them anymore.
