I brewed an oatmeal stout and the gravity has been 1.028 for like five days. Is this common for a stout? The starting gravity was 1.056. I just dont want bottle bombs! Any help?

What yeast did you use?
april 14th. and I used windsor dry yeast. Its been in a secondary since april 20th.

Shows your apparent attenuation at about 50%.
Do a search for "low attenuation". There have been quite a few similar discussions and ideas for kicking it back up. And lots of examples to make you feel at ease.
