Default HERMS: white goo in the bottom of my mash tun.

Hello,

Ususally when I mashed in my kettle, some white goo started separating from the grains, and settle on top of the grains.

Recently, i built my ferst HERMS, and when I was cleaning out my mash tun afterwards, I noticed that a LOT of this white stuff had gathered at the bottom of the mash tun.

What is this white stuff?

Thanks,
Marius

My initial theory is that this was endosperm, but I am unsure. Unfortunatly, I didnt taste it before i flushed it out.M
