Default Help converting to full boil

hey i have a recipe i bought ingredients for but noticed it was for a partial boil can someone help me convert it to a full boil...

6.6lbs Unhopped Amber malt syrup
1lb honey malt > Steeping Grain
1/2lb carawheat malt > Steeping grain
2oz Crystal Hops (boil 60 Mins)
1oz perle Hops (boil 5 Mins)
1/2 teaspoon Irish Moss (boil 45 mins)
WHite Labs British ale yeast

It says for partial boil instructions to start with 2 gallons for steeping then gos into adding the ingredients then says add 2 gallons to fermentor then top off to 5 gallon mark...

This will be my second batch.... so im still very green at this...

if you are going to do a full boil, you just need to increase the amount of wort you boil to start with, there's no real adjustments you need to make. stick with the 2 gallons for steeping, then you want to somehow measure what you get from that (the grains will absorb some of the water) and figure out how much water you want to start with so you end up with ~5 gallons after the boil. there is no exact formula for that, but depending on the type of burner you use (stove, turkey fryer, etc.), your boiloff rate should be 1-1.5 gallons per hour or so. hop utilization will be different, but i wouldn't worry too much about that.

ok so i got brew target and it says i should use 1.3oz instead of 2 when doing a full boil does that sound right?

update... actually read the hops package noticed its alpha was 2.9 instead of 4.5 so now 2oz work for a full boil

sorry man, yeah, with the lower AA, you should be fine with 2 oz. but you were essentially right about dropping it to 1.3 oz for hop utilization purposes with the full boil. i was going on the assumption that they were a fairly low AA hop, so it wouldn't have added a TON of IBUs, but looks like you got it figured out.
