Default Has anyone else been brave enough to begin this obsession with swmbo pregnant?

When she tells me I care more about my beer than I do about the baby, I tried to explain to her that this is my FIRST batch of homebrew, and we ALREADY have another kid.

I can't figure out why she got so mad!?!?

I tried to tell her I was just joking, and they are both equally important...

...again more

...sigh, oh well. At least when my lil one is born I'll have some wicked homebrew to celebrate with

Haha, that is great stuff. You know how the old saying fows - a woman becomes a mother the day she finds out she is pregnant, a man becomes a father the day the baby is born

Dude, you can't win a fight with a pregnant women. Even if you win, you lose. Just apologize, wait for the storm to pass and then brew.

Hahahaha,, "equally important"!!! That is awesome!! Next time the 2 of you are at the doctor, ask if it would be ok for her to substitute the daily single glass of wine for a single homebrew. :-)

I did that last night and my wife called me a jerk.....

when you plead the 5th they just go and assume the worst, which is usually right

SWMBO is pregnant with our first, (after 4 years of trying) my third batch is in the secondary. I'm already planning my batches back to back over the next 6 months, because I doubt I'll be doing it as often after the little one is born.

Equally important??? lol...I'll bet she didn't find that very funny.

Nothing you can do, just do really sweet things for her and brew when you get the chance.

The celebration beer is a must!
