is it green beer?
 

so i just finihsed my 3rd brew, a london porter, and even though its only been in the bottle for 2 weeks, it tastes much like my first brew, a stout which i made over 4 months ago, like vinegar.

my friend who has been brewing for a few years has never had this problem with his stouts and porters

my second brew was a Kolsch and it came out just fine so i do not think it is my sanitation or procedures

i know time heals all, yes ive read that several times, but has anyone else had trouble with dark beers?

Give it a couple more weeks. But if it really tastes like vinegar that may not be good.

Vinegar? Hum... Did you use the same water source for all beers?

Wild yeast or bacterium.

Ya I always buy gallon jugs of drinking water.
