Default got some gunk in my beer.

So i was using a kit which came with a couple of bags of hoppy flavoury goodness (rather like tea bags).

However one of them broke....and the green goodness became bad! I didn't have anything to strain it with and did not want risk contaminating anything by grabbing something from the kitchen so I left it. Figured it would settle to the bottom of the fermenter and then I could just leave it when I syphon.

Is it going to mess up the taste?

I assume there were hop pellets in the bags. It will be fine. Most of it will settle or ride on the foam during fermentation and stick to the sides of the fermenter. No worries.
