Default Got me a Mashtun

1 more piece of gear closer to going AG. I picked up a 10 gallon Igloo beverage cooler (Never used) from craigslist today for $25.00

Woot! Many people here go to the hardware store and mix and match the parts they need to convert the cooler to a mash tun. Its a good way to save money, I'm sure.

I just bought a couple of kits, though, and they were as easy to use as falling down. One is the Kewler Conversion kit http://www.midwestsupplies.com/kewle...-1-2-barb.html and the other was a bazooka screen http://www.midwestsupplies.com/the-bazooka-screen.html

Good luck!

Sweet deal, gotta love craigs list!
If you want you could check out bargainfittings.com.
I have bought from them and have no complaints but always shop around a bit 'cause if you don't get just the right stuff then it can be a pain to have to fix or get replacement parts for!
Good luck!

That's a good deal! I paid $40 off of ebay for my 10 gallon igloo cooler. Put a ball valve/braided line for filtering on that cooler and you will be all set.

I have a cooler in the mail, 5 gallon rubbermaid. Planning on doing my first partial mash next weekend. Should have done it this way from the get go.
