Forgot top off water
Ok, quick question. My second batch ever. I cooled the wort, poured it through a strainer into my primary, passed it between a couple buckets to aerate it, pitched the yeast, and capped it. After about 5 minutes I remembered I forgot the top off 2 gallons. I sanitized a bucket and dumped in two filtered gallons. Is this going FO mess up the batch??

You'll probably get a "Who knows" response seeing the amount of factors in your situation. It seems you understand that minimal handling is optimal - I'd bet you'll be fine considering the history of brewing beer. Besides - what are your options - you really want to re-sanitize and re-pitch? Give many, many more details just for S&G's.

I think you'll be just fine, considering it was 5 minutes after pitching

It'll be totally fine. That is a typical way to add top off water, to cool the wort first, aerate and then add the top off water.

Sounds to me like you made some beer.

100% fine... at least on adding the water ;)
