Yeah, fridge or freezer should be fine. Even leaving them in room temp for a few days would probably be fine, but it's better to get in the habit of leaving them in a cold spot. The oxygen barrier bags should protect them fine.

My recipe calls for 6AAU of bittering hops. I got an ounce of 8.5%AA Northern Brewer, so 7/10 of that ounce is 6AAU.
I've got a little more Cascade than the recipe calls for that I'm planning to dry hop with. Would it be a bad idea to dry hop with Northern Brewer as well?

If you really want to make the recipe exactly, then you'd want to use only the 7/10 oz of hops. If you like your Pales a little more bitter than you can use the whole amount. Probably doesn't matter
too much, but I'd personally try to stick with the recipe, only so that you can note what you'd change the next time.
I've never dry hopped with Northern Brewer, but I've heard some people say that it leaves a pretty grassy taste. Maybe someone with some experience there will weigh in? Cascade, on the other hand, is a
great one for dry hoping. I think you'll love the result!
