Default First time Coopers Real Ale

Although I've read many many threads on this forum, this is my first post. I started my first home brew (a coopers kit real ale). I added 1.5 pounds of DME, 1.5 pounds of corn sugar and .5 pounds of maltodextrin and used the provided yeast. I brewed a 5 gallon batch and for 7 days at (67-69 degrees) there were zero bubbles in the airlock. I could see a lot of foam on the top so I knew something was going on. I read in here that shaking the fermenter to activate the yeast may be a good idea, so I did. After shaking, I got bubbles about every 2 or 3 seconds early on and now 24 hours later no more bubbles. Also, there isn't much foam on the top. It's at about 1.02 gravity right now. I tasted what I took for the gravity reading and it tastes like beer to me. Not overly sweet but not bad either. It looks like it's the right color too. I didn't take an initial reading. Like so many first timers, I'm anxious to do everything right. So here's the big question....What's my next move? Thank you in advance for any help you can lend.

Just leave it go for about another week. The FG needs to go down to maybe 1.010-1.012. And cooper's kits are normaly 23L,or 6.072 USG.
