I have heard people using a liter of starter. I am sure it would be fine to use your 2 pints as a starter. You will dilute it a bit but you will make beer.

Thank you for the response. Notice a small krausen 12 hours after pitching the yeast and have steady airlock activity. I think I will be OK to use this when I brew my AHS red irish ale on monday. Once again thank you very much. Last edited by CBK; 12-12-2009 at 08:02 PM. Reason: typo |
