Default Fine nylon bag as grain bag?

My grain bag went MIA. I have a fine nylon soaking bag though. Any issues with using a finer bag to soak grains in?

Nylon is rated to 250 degrees, so I think you'd be fine.

I always use a paint strainer form Lowes for my grains. Never had one tear (Murphy, look the other way)

I think the finer bag will make no difference since the sugars are dissolved. Should be good to go.

I've only just started with the whole AG thing, but I've been using a fine nylon straining bag with no problems so far...

5 gallon paint strainer bag. $2.40 for a pair at Fleet Farm. Works great!

What about the SWMBO's old panty hose.. clean of course. She usually gets a run somewhere in the leg.. but the bootie part.. er, foot part is usually intact. There will be an endless supply if this seems ok

I wouldn't use panty Hose. Not sure how much weight they'd hold before rupturing.
