Default Fermentation - Ice Storm - Ale temp drop

Hello all,

1/25/09 - brewed a Stone IPA clone, pitched two tubes of English Ale Yeast, constant temp. in fermentation area (basement) 69 degrees
1/26/09 - fermination takes off with a lot of activity
1/27/09 - still a lot of activity
1/28/09 - freakin' ice storm, no electric, no heat for 3 days, temp in basement gets down to 45 degrees.
1/31/09 -- electric on, heat back up to 69 degrees
2/1/09 - transfer to secondary - no airlock movement, no activity
2/5/09 -- starting to see some slight (and I mean dang slight) movement in the airlock

Is my yeast trying to make a comeback? Would it be possible to pitch more yeast or is that a bad idea?

45 isn't low enough to kill your yeast, but it is low enough to cause it to go dormant. If it's bubbling again, it's probably fermenting again. Did you take any gravity readings? If so, what was your OG, expected FG and SG at the time of transfer to secondary?
