Default Fast fermenting

Is it unusual for fermenting to begin after a couple of hours?. My red ale is already going crazy. Went into the primary at 4:00pm and it is bublin at 6:00pm.

Some of us wish or beers started that fast. Liquid yeast takes a little longer to start. Even my starter takes awhile.

Try pitching onto a yeast cake! I've had bubbling start while I'm still cleaning up my brewgear after doing so.
