Default Dry hopping question...

I've have a pale ale in the primary for one week now. the kit instructions recommended transferring to a secondary and dry hopping at that time. After spending time on this site i have decided not to rack to a secondary but leave it in the primary for 3 weeks then bottle. My questions are...

Is it ok to throw the dry hops in now after one week in the primary? The spec. grav. right now is 1.014 so i am assuming it is almost completely fermented.

Is it ok to dry hop without ever racking to a secondary?

good luck, I dryhopped my first ever brew also, dropped them in secondary for 1 week. Turned out great. Primary vs secondary won't have any effect on the dryhopping. Just more sediment to rack off of at once instead of racking twice off smaller individual amounts.
