I started this yesterday everything went well according to directions except one thing...I bought this during the summer and I haven't had a chance to get it brewed. The kit came with a White Labs german Lager yeast liquid WLP 830 and the date said use before Sept 8-09 It has been in the fridge since that time until yesterday. I pulled in out and got it to room temp before starting the brew. I have yet to observe any action at all. Could the yeast be dead?

Lager yeast are slow and starters are highly recommended. You should see something in 3-4 more days.

Thanks David I did use an yeast activator with it. I'll wait and see!
