I created a starter for the brew I'm doing today. Should I still add yeast nutrients to my wert? Normal amount or less (1 tsp / gal. is the normal amount)?

Adding nutrients won't hurt, so if you have them on hand, feel free. Unless you're brewing in poor conditions for yeast health, though (e.g. high alcohol, ultrahigh hops, high acidity, or high temperature,) they're really not going to do much for you.
