So after many hours of brewing my first hoppy IPA (4th brew in total), I discovered that my strainer clogged up while pouring the cooled wort into the primary. The 6 oz of hops i added during the boil prevented the wort passing through the strainer. In my tired state I gave up and dumped wort and spent hop in together. Fermentation is proceeding nicely, though I see plenty of hoppy bits churning around in the mix.
Did I screw up here or am I okay? I understand its best to strain as much of the gunk out of the wort as possible, if only to aid in settling. Note: I will be trasferring to a secondary in 1 week, then dry-hopping another ounce of cascade. All input appreciated.
