Default coopers lager.

Got a batch of coopers lager fermenting as we speak its on its second day.Once the hydrometer settles on "ready" for two consecutive readings I know I can bottle condition, but would like to leave for a while as I have been told it will improve. Is this correct?if so how long can I leave it and under what conditions? This is a great forum for a total novice like me!

I've done a few of their kits.

Don't even open the fermenter for 2 weeks. Even then and the SG is stable for 3 days try to wait till the beer is clear before bottling.

I would double all the times in the Cooper's intructions, especially when it comes to the fermentation times.

If you are using the Cooper's fermenter there is no need to open it as all your samples can come right from the spigot. (spray it with Starsan each time you draw off a sample.)
