Default Contest advise/help

Hey everyone! I decided to enter a homebrew contest. I'm looking for a little help as I am new to this hobby. With the form I have to fill out I have to determine the color and bitterness. I'm entering 2 brews, brown ale, and a 4 hoped citrus ale. Any help on helping me determine what I need to put there or how to come up with that information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Find an app or brew software. I use BrewR on my phone (since I dont have internet at home), and i hear beersmith is a great program to use on your pc. There is a free 30 day trial, i believe with beersmith, and those will give you the correct srm and ibu's. I also have used the hopville beer calculator to formulate recipes. Remember to account for late extract additions as those will affect your total ibu's.
