How soon before bottling is the ideal time to sart cold crashing.
I like to cold crash for 24 to 48 hours and then bottle the while the beer is still cold.

I cold crash for 48 hours. Some people will do it for a week or two which makes a very clear product. This works great when kegging, but for bottles you want need a little yeast in there for them to carb up in a reasonable amount of time.
