Default Checking the gravities

If I measure the OG by pouring some of the beer out of the tap in the fermenter into a trial jar before adding yeast, and then I do the same after the bubbling has stopped to check the FG is constant over 2 days, is there much risk of an infection breeding inside the tap?

I always spray with sanitizer before and after I sample.

I guess its possible to get some leftover wort in the tap that gets some nastiness in it. I usually just sanitize my hydrometer and measure directly in the fermenter. 95% of the time the fermentation is done as I let it sit in the primary a good while before removing. I can usually tell if a fermentation has had issues before testing ... weak bubbling, no krausen etc ...
