Default Carboy overflowed

Hey guys just threw together a 5 gallon batch of Apfelwein. I had a little too much apple juice than I thought and the carboy overflowed a little at the end.

My question is did I lose some yeast when that happened? Or does the yeast tend to sink right away?

I did have my yeast in some warm water for about 20 minutes before I pitched it. I know this isn't a big issue but I'm curious what that yeast does in there.

After pitching, it will spread throughout the wort. You should be fine unless you dry pitched the yeast and you spilled the majority of it up and out of the carboy.
