Default Can Suspended Yeast Effect FG Reading?

If you have a lot of suspended yeast, like in a wheat beer, can it effect the FG reading?

I just kegged a Dunkel Weiss. I filled a 2 liter bottle and the test jar first.

There is a good bit of yeasty goodness floating around in this batch. It occurred to me that the yeast in the sample might effect the FG reading, and the ABV calculation.

No, yeast doesn't make any difference. However, failing to de-gas completely will.

Well, it sat for about a half an hour in the tube at about 70*. I kept spinning and shaking the hydrometer.

I guess the attenuation is about right. It went from 1.047 to 1.008 in two weeks.
