Can StarSan solution ruin your beer?

When I was siphoning off for an OG reading, I accidentally spilled some StarSan solution from the hose into the carboy.
Can this kill the yeast or ruin the beer?

Not likely. I think it would have to be an awful lot to have any detrimental effect ever. That's why "don't fear the foam" came about...at least in small quantities Star San is supposed to be good for the yeast.

Star San breaks down and turns yeast food so no it won't kill your yeast or hurt your beer.
