Default can i make a starter with LME?

Ive read in many places about making a yeast starter with DME and I would do that but I dont have any. Cant I just use LME? Will it really make a difference?

Sure, you can use LME. It's just that DME is easier to handle in small portions. Just use 20% more for the same gravity.
