Default Bubbler air lock question

I have a Question. I got a northern brewer kit with a bubbler airlock. Instructions say to fill with star san which i did ( to max line). However it all seems to have foamed due to i assume the co2 creation. Do i need to keep filled or just leave it?

I would just leave it, as long as the CO2 is escaping its a good thing. The star san may not be completely necessary, I have used plain water and also a cheap vodka. I would leave it and make sure the fluid stays at the max fill line.

if there is foam in the airlock, your fine. If its all foamed out refill it.
My 3 piece airlocks often have some foam on the top of the cap.
