Default Brewing High gravity Kit at low temperatures.

Hi,

Im brewing a high OG ale but I cannot really brew anywhere that has a higher temp than 10c and that will be lower at night.

If i do this will It get off flavors? or will it just take longer to brew.

Is there a good ale yeast strand for this?

10C is 50 degrees, why not just use a lager yeast?? Off flavors are generally from high fermentation temps as opposed to low.

The Wyeast German Ale can go down to 55
