Default brewing buckets

I have done a couple batches of beer in my primary buckets. After cleaning them they still have some arouma of beer, and the wine one is stronger.
Is this gonna affect my next batches of beer I brew in them, or should I try and clean them out better?

Try soaking them in oxyclean for a few hours. When I do this to mine the smell and any staining are almost gone.

I didn't do this for a long time and it didn't hurt anything.

Buckets will always pick up odor. It won't hurt anything.

Yep, buckets will always have odor in them, it's fine.

Mine smell of brew as well... actually kind of nice... but it hasn't noticeably worn off on any new batches at all.

However, now that I started using carboys, I enjoy watching the fermentation too much to use the buckets anymore... they work just as well, I just can't see all the good stuff going on inside....

Most, if not all, of the odor will disappear if you store the bucket without the lid on (assuming that you actually store the bucket between brews).
