Buy a very large kettle. When you are making extract batches, you can use a 5gal pot because you have a wort concentrate that you later can dilute to the right level. When you go all grain, you will need to boil something more in the range of 7 gal (give or take) to come out with a 5gal batch. If you are at all thinking about switching over to all grain it makes sense to go ahead and invest in a pot large enough for a full boil (remember, to boil 7gal your pot must be larger than 7gal or all your beautiful wort will be boiling over the sides).
