im in the process of brewing and , i just realized my sole airlock is in use on my carboy. can i temporarily use a blow off tube for an airlock untill i get to my LHBS tomorrow?

Yep i had to do the same thing... I forgot to get another airlock for our bucket which we decided to prime in since the other 2 carboys are in use... I used our siphoning tube to create a blow-off tube...

yeah, just make sure the basic... sanitize everything. becasue you dont want nothing to travel up that tube. i had a similar problem a couple of week ago when i was makeing a starter. so now i carry an extra of all my small stuff, like air locks and bungs. never know when your going to need a bung
