Default Blow off tube help
Is a gallon water jug good for the blow off tube. I will fill it with some star San but I was wondering if the gallon jug would be big enough thanks.

Thats what I use.....I fill it about 1/2 full with sanitizer and have never had a problem.

Good question. I have my star san in a squirt bottle. Can I just spray that a few times in the gallon jug half filled with water? Would that be enough sanitizer?

I'm just gonna put the gallon of water and star san mixture that I used to clean the primary and my utensils into the jug.

I always fill my fermenter with fresh water and sanitizer on brew day. Then when i am done i transfer this to another pail to use for cleanup and to fill my jug for the blow off tube.
