If you leave a beer in the primary for 6 weeks it's going to be just as clear as it would be if you primaried for 2 weeks and secondaried for 4 weeks. You just have to make sure not to upset the trub on the bottom when racking out of the fermenter. The only worry should be about the possible off flavors coming from extended exposure to the yeast cake

put it this way, i have 1 primary and 2 carboys..
if my beer take 2 weeks to brew what i do i start it in my fermenting bucket after 5 days transfer to carboy start another brew and transfer to carboy and drop another one.. at all time i have 18 gallons of beer going at all times.. in 1 month i can do 7-10 kits
