Default Belgian farmhouse ale question

Hi
First ever home brew, Belgian farmhouse ale recipe from local home brew supplier, lloks clear in the bottle, and when we open it, lots of carbination that pulls the sediment up making it cloudy. Tastes great, but presentation not so good. What went wrong?

How long did you wait until you bottled? It sounds like you probably did it a bit early before everything settled out.

What's the yeast? Many/most belgians are supposed to be cloudy. You'll even see on the labels of a lot of wit's now little pictures that show you to pour 2/3, swirl to make sure you get all the yeast, pour again.

There are things you can do to combat cloudiness, but it is most likely not appropriate for a Belgian style beer.

Congrats on your first brew!
