Craven, I'm with you. Man juice should not be used in the english language to begin with, and most definetly not as a nickname for homebrew...

As was mentioned, any extract/grains recipe is doable for a beginner, so there really isn't an "easy" recipe. They all have about the same difficulty level.

They are are pretty easy, but I'd suggest staying away from lagers. Lagers aren't any more difficult to make, but they are much more finicky about temperature control.

My second recipe was an easy one to make using just extracts and made a pretty nice ale
4.5 lbs light dme
1lb rice syrup
1oz fuggles added @ 30 mins
1oz willamette added @ 15 mins
Safale US-05 yeast

Its one of the simplest ones Iv'e made, but surprisingly people liked it alot.
