Hello,

I made Northern Brewer's Oatmeal Cookie Brown Ale BIAB All Grain Kit, and I was wondering if this is consider an Oatmeal Stout or a Brown Ale. If it is a Brown Ale would it be a Mild, Northern English, Southern English, or American? Trying to figure out which beer category to select on TastyBrew Kegging Carbonation Calculator.

So how did it turn out? I did a 1g batch yesterday with 1098 and I'm doing another today with 1335. The more I read the BJCP guidelines, the more I feel like it leans toward a Southern Brown though. I haven't tasted it yet, so I can't say. What did you decide?
