Just picked one up. Little skeptical. Hops or yeast not kept in fridge. The rye grain has blue and green in it. First thought was mold. What do you think.
Looks like regular flaked rye. Give it the sniff test. If it smells funky it is funky. If not, it looks fine.
You can always contact them. I've heard they have incredible customer service.
I bought their book and made this recipe in a three gallon version on Friday. It is fermenting like crazy!
