Do any of you Barley Crusher users have a gap preference that seems to yield good efficiency without turning the grain into meal? I think it's set at 0.039" now.
I just crushed my first run last night, white wheat for an American Wheat I'm doing this weekend and it literally made meal out of it. Should work fine because I'm doing BIAB using a fine mesh bag but this is too fine I think for use with a mash tun and manifold. Should I perhaps water condition the grain first?
