Default aussie ale yeast pitch

Hey guys just made my second homebrew (midwest supplies aussie ale light) and i pitched my yeast (safale us-50) my wort temp was at 65deg..is that to cold...thanks allot

Probably on the lower end of the temp range. Let it warm up to room temperature and you should be ok.

It should be fine. Last batch I made, it was probably about that cool when I pitched. I ran to the store and was there longer than I'd planned. I don't know how that yeast acts but I used Safale English yeast. Haven't sprang for a wort chiller yet, so I lightly crack the lid and set my kettle afloat in a tub of cold water.
