Trying to make a light lager clone at home (even with all grain) and having it taste like a particular commercial brand of beer is almost impossible.
If you really want to do this, look for generic recipes for classic american pilsners, american lagers, light ales, etc.

I don't drink corona either! I have brewed two stouts, and a steam beer. They seem to be just fine. I am trying hard to be a beer SNOB like Lou. I thought this was a forum for people that are learning about brewing. I know the difference between a lager and an ale. And I also know the differnce between a little ass and a smart ass!

8.5# pale pilsner/lager 2 row
12 oz flaked maize
.5# Rice Hulls
(for Extract use 5.5# extra light DME and corn sugar)
.5# corn sugar
.75oz Tettnanger (90 min) (Use 1 oz at 60min for extract)
.5oz Saaz (10 min)
Wyeast 2035/wLP840
Keep secondary in a well (indirect) sun lit area (you want it to skunk)
AG 6.5 gal starting boil extract 2.5 gallon boil.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the recipe for Corona to mix 1 can of Buttwiper, 1 can of Swiller, and 1 can of Soors and mix in 5 gals of water, add in 1 packet of dry yeast and ferment in full sunlight?

Where and how do you keep all that beer? I have one regular sized refridge and it will only hold two 5 gal. kegs even after I "customized' it. how do you do, what you do, so well?

Can we lay off the beer snobbery and get the guy some answers instead? We get it-- some of you don't like corona.
Liquid yeast: is it 'better'? It's certainly easier to get started because the yeast is already live and ready to get busy, instead of in a dry, dormant state.

See my recipe for Boom-Boom Vanilla. This will be the recipe your home-Corona brew is based on.
Brew the Boom-Boom as per the instructions. When it's finished, drink it all and piss into clear bottles. Add some corn-sugar and dry yeast, bottle and serve with a lime.
OK, smart-ass answer.
Corona is cheap and readily available. It's typically $9.00 per 12er by me. Buy it for her from the store and revel in the fact that the delicious beer you make will last you longer.
My wife drinks Miller Lite. I love the beer I brew so I'm not trying to change her. In fact, at restaurants I now order the hoppiest ale on the menu and let her have a sip to remind her that she hates flavorfull beers.
