Default Another newbie hydrometer question

Hello All,

I regret not seeing this forum earlier. I am currently on my first batch and has made so many mistakes.

1. didn't take OG
2. racked to glass carby only after 3 days.. after seeing no bubbles
3, 4, 5, 6.... too embrassed to say.

Well, after reading the forum, hopefully my next batch will be better taken care of. Now, to my question. Since glass carby is clear, is there anything wrong about just leaving the hydrometer in the glass carby if it's sanitized well?

and.. is there anything i can do to salvage my beer? after racking it to early?

Thanks in advance.

possibly repitch but probably just let it sit for a few weeks.

and no, don't put your hydrometer in your carboy. it'll break.

get a sample taker like a wine thief or something, half the fun is tasting it along the way.

And quit being so impatient!
