Default Amber bottles == brown?

NORTHERN BREWER: Bottling

Are those "brown" bottles Amber, or is the 25 ounce amber Belgian bottle darker and more light filtering? The pictures look rather light....

Brown is brown as far as your beer is concerned. There are some of the bigger bottles that nearly reach BLACK. I'll bet we could debate the effects of that for the next 6 weeks....but I'm pretty happy with standard brown.
